In-Slab hydronic heating and cooling installations are carried out for new constructions. The REHAU hydronic heating and cooling pipe is attached to the steel reinforcing mesh prior to the pouring of the structural slab. Pipe can be tied either with cable or wire ties.
When the system is commissioned, warm or chilled water is circulated through the pipes and the thermal mass (structural slab) is warmed or cooled. The thermal mass retains the heat and cool energy and uniformly distributes the energy throughout the room.
